Announcement - November 16th 

Dear First National Bank Customer:

The Seven Points location of First National Bank will reopen effective this morning for drive-thru transactions.  We are thankful the Covid related closure was very short and are hopeful that we will not need to take this action again.  Thank you for your understanding during this time.  Please remember we remain in Stage 2 of our Pandemic Response plan.  This means our lobbies at both locations remain locked and access is allowed by appointment only.


Announcement - November 11th 

Dear First National Bank Customer:

Due to recent confirmed Covid-19 cases as well as potential contact cases within our staff it has become necessary to consolidate our daily operations to one location.  Our Seven Points branch location will be closed for all business as of November 12th and will remain so until further notice.   If you must conduct an in-person transaction we ask that you please use the drive-thru at our main office at 100 South State Hwy 274 in Kemp.   You may still drop a transaction into our night drop in Seven Points if that is more convenient for you.  Any transactions dropped there before 3pm will be processed the day they are left.  Of course, we urge you to use electronic means to conduct your banking business as much as possible.  This includes using our remote deposit feature to deposit checks via your phone rather than coming to the bank.  We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this temporary branch closure causes our customers.   I can assure you we would not take this action unless it was absolutely necessary to prevent further exposure to additional staff and help insure our ability to continue serving our customers throughout this most recent spike in local cases.

Announcement - November 6th 

Dear First National Bank Customer:

We appreciate the ongoing concern regarding the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak as we continue to monitor information from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), as well as state and local authorities during this declared pandemic.  I want to inform you that as of today November 6th we have returned to Stage 2 of our Pandemic Plan which includes various preventive measures to help reduce potential spread of the virus.   A recent increase in cases within our service area along with several known contact exposures to our staff has precipitated this status change.   Stage 2 status means our lobby doors will be locked with restricted access being granted by appointment.   If you need to enter the lobby you can call for access.  You will be required to have a mask and wear it at all times except when instructed by an employee to remove it briefly for the purpose of identification.  Your temperature will be taken via contactless means before entry into the building is granted.  I apologize for any inconvenience this causes to you as our customer.
